At Channel Servicing we know ourselves the responsibilities employers have for the health and safety of their employees as well as visitors to our premises such as customers, suppliers and the general public. We utilise our extensive knowledge and experience of Health & Safety requirements in the workplace to provide help and advice in making the workplace safe.
FREE of charge and at a convenient time to suit, we will carry out a full inspection of your external doors and windows to identify common problems such as non compliant glazing, evacuation compliance of windows and doors in the event of a fire, safety restrictors on opening windows to prevent falls and for added security, functioning of locks, hinges and handles. We will also visually inspect your glazing units, seals and beading.
Our comprehensive service covers all uPVC, aluminium or wooden windows and doors regardless of age or whether installed by us. For example, we can repair everything from a timber sash window through to bespoke aluminium bi-folding doors. In addition, we will carry out a visual inspection at ground level of your fascias, and guttering.
At the end of our inspection, we will provide you with a written report identifying any areas of non-compliance with the ‘duty of care’ obligations and if required recommended remedial action to be taken.
